A little about Amino Acids.... Amino acids are the "building blocks" that make up proteins. This denotes the spiral rotation of the chemical structure of the molecule. Proteins in plant and animal tissue (with the exception of DL-phenylalanine) are made from "L" forms of Amino Acids, thus "L" forms are considered to be more compatible with human biochemistry.
